In 2019, Sanya City, Hainan Province, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tencent Group. Tencent will set up a regional headquarters in Sanya and establish an activity base for the game industry. The two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in four aspects: urban super brain, industrial development cooperation, industrial space construction, and urban brand promotion, marking the official launch of cooperation between Sanya and Tencent.
